Welcome, Igniters! We’re glad to have you on board for Flint’s 24-Hour Relay fundraiser! 100% of funds raised will equip orphaned and at-risk youth around the world to thrive as they age into adulthood and independent living, replacing cycles of suffering and abandonment with cycles of hope and flourishing!
Before you lace up your running shoes, you’ll need to do a few things to get ready for the relay:
Register via the link below by Feb. 15th, and we will email you for your FREE Igniter’s T-shirt size!
(Optional) Recruit friends to join your team or form their own team and also be Igniters!

IGNITER’S TIMELINE
Before the Relay
• TODAY: Register to Run, recruit team members, check out the Igniter’s Booklet, and begin the RunTenTen Challenge. (see below)!
• February 15th: Last day to register and receive a FREE T-SHIRT.
• March 1st: Continue sharing your personal fundraising page via email, text message, and social media to complete the RunTenTen Challenge.
• March 22nd: Remind people that the event has almost arrived!
Day of the Relay: March 25th - 26th
• Travel to run location with your team.
• Record a video message shoutout or take a photo for social media

How Do I Raise Funds and Awareness?
Tell People About the 24-Hour Relay!
Spread the word!
Share the event video with your friends via text message, email, social media, or even in person!
Include a personal message inviting them to participate with you or donate as one of your 10 advocates in the RunTenTen Challenge. An example text message might look something like this:
“Hey [friend!] Check out this video! I’m participating in this event and am looking for people to either join me on my team, or to be one of ten people who commit to donating at least $10 in support of my run! 😬😄 Let me know what you think! (You can check out flintglobal.org/move to learn more.) Thanks!”
The RunTenTen Challenge!
The RunTenTen challenge is one of the ways you can help raise funds during the Relay. Each Igniter is challenged to get 10 people to donate $10 each in support of their relay participation and of Flint Global’s work transforming lives. 100% of donations will go directly to Flint’s Thriving Skills program, equipping orphaned and at-risk youth.
Once you have 10 people committed to donating, CONGRATULATIONS! You’ve completed the RunTenTen challenge and raised $100 for Flint’s work. Since $100 is all it takes to change one person’s life, you and your 10 donors have forever changed one person’s life!

Invite a Business to Become a Corporate Sponsor for the Relay!
Do you own a business or know of a business in your community that would be interested in our cause?
Invite them to join you in changing the lives of orphaned and at-risk teens by sponsoring the Relay!

PARTICIPATE WITH CARE:
ALL RELAY ACTIVITIES SHOULD BE CONDUCTED IN CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENTS, AT SAFE LOCATIONS, & IN GROUPS OF TWO OR MORE. BE SURE OTHERS KNOW WHERE YOU ARE. IF YOU ARE PARTICIPATING OUTDOORS DURING NIGHT OR EARLY MORNING HOURS, FOR YOUR OWN & COMMUNITY SAFETY, BE SURE TO NOTIFY LOCAL AUTHORITIES OF YOUR PLANS.
